NedFox Privacy Statement (version June 24, 2025)

This privacy statement applies to the Nuvio consumer platform, managed by NedFox B.V., located in Emmeloord, the Netherlands, and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 39075063. Through this platform, consumers can manage their data linked to companies using our RetailVista ERP-system.

1. Who is responsible for processing your data?

We are the data controller for personal data you provide during registration and first use of the Nuvio platform. For personal data received from connected companies, we act as a processor on behalf of those companies.

2. What data do we process?

  • Email address
  • Password (hashed)
  • Platform activity (logins, preferences)
  • Technical data (IP address, browser info, cookies)

3. Purposes and legal bases

We process your data for the following purposes:

  • Creating and managing your account (legal basis: performance of a contract)
  • Improving our services (legitimate interest)
  • Security and fraud prevention (legitimate interest)

4. Sharing of personal data

We only share your data with:

  • The store(s) you have added to Nuvio (our client company)
  • IT service providers that support our platform (e.g., hosting, email, analytics)
  • Government authorities when legally required

We never sell or give your data to third parties.

5. Data transfers outside the EU

Data is primarily stored on servers within the European Economic Area (EEA). If data is processed outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards in accordance with the GDPR.

6. Retention period

We reserve the right to delete your account if you do not use Nuvio for 12 months, unless legal obligations require a longer retention period.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access or delete your data
  • Withdraw your consent (if applicable)
  • Request your data (data portability)
  • File a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl)

You can submit requests to privacy@nedfox.nl. We respond within 30 days.

8. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, such as encryption, access control, and logging.

9. Changes

This privacy statement may be updated. The latest version is always available on our Nuvio website. We will actively inform you of significant changes.
